This policy explains what data GarHtar collects, why we collect it, and how to control it. We try to keep this short and direct. If anything here is unclear, email us.
What we collect
When you use GarHtar we collect the minimum we need to run the service:
- Account data — your email address, your chosen username and display name, an optional bio and avatar.
- Content you publish — prompts, descriptions, covers, tags, and the tools you tag a prompt with.
- Usage telemetry — pages visited, basic performance metrics, and error reports. We use this to understand which features land and to fix bugs.
- Authentication metadata — provided by Supabase Auth (login timestamps, refresh-token state). We don't see your password.
Why we collect it
To operate the service, keep your account secure, surface relevant content to other users, debug problems, and decide what to build next. We don't sell your data and we don't serve ads.
Who we share it with
We rely on a small number of vendors as data processors. They only handle data on our behalf and under contract.
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
- Vercel — application hosting and edge networking.
- PostHog — product analytics (page views, feature usage).
- Sentry — error and performance monitoring.
- Google — only if you sign in via Google (OAuth). We see your email and basic profile info.
Cookies and similar tech
We use cookies for authentication (so you stay signed in) and for analytics. We don't use third-party advertising trackers.
Retention
We keep your account data while the account exists. When you delete your account, we remove your profile and prompts within 30 days. Some operational records (audit logs, billing, abuse reports) may persist longer where we have a legitimate interest or legal obligation.
Your rights
You can view and update your profile from Settings at any time, and you can delete your account from the same page. If you're in a region with GDPR or similar protections, you can also request a copy of the data we hold on you, or ask us to delete it — email us and we'll respond within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
When we materially change this policy we'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, send a notice to your email or show a banner in the app.
